Needed a quick home inspection done due to my financing being delayed. Realtor gave me a list of home inspectors in the area and none had the availability, so I decided to give Sunburst a shot and I'm glad I did. Steven was professional and pleasant front the start. Finding the time to get my inspections done before subject removals, and taking the time to do a walk-through with us highlighting some of the key issues. Because of his thoroughness, we were able to go back to the sellers with some key issues that were missed and get a decent some taken off the accepted price. He went through the home with a fine tooth comb. His report was detailed and even included reno contacts in the area for us buyers coming from out of town. Steven was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and booked the inspection efficiently. He was on time, extremely friendly, professional, and provided a through inspection. I appreciate the report not only pointed out issues that need to be taken care of, but also on what time line (before subject removal, upon possession, in Spring etc). Also great were the photos added to show how certain structures etc "should" look vs photos he took of how they looked. Steve provided a home inspection on very short notice, which I needed to rely on as I purchased my home from out of province, only seeing pictures and a video. I hired Steven with SunBurst Home Inspections to inspect a mobile home. He was available, flexible in his schedule to inspect in order to have conditions removed, very professional & friendly service, explained areas of concern after showing me throughout. The report was 60 pages long, that also included recommendations for services to fix issues, which I appreciated. I really liked that he completed the report within a day, it included lots of pictures, explanations why it was a problem and how to fix, tabs to quickly move to areas of concern, and a summary to know the top priorities. His service went beyond that, he let me know if I have any questions or didn't understand anything about the report to contact him. He also followed up. I really appreciated his inspection was less than $500 with taxes to inspect a mobile home and he provided excellent service & value! Steve is really easy to work with, knowledgeable but also humble and approachable. I would do business with Steve again in future for any home inspections!

Steve was recommended by our realtor and we were amazed at how thorough a job was done. The report was sixty pages long and included many photographs and details of what needed to be done from trimming trees to replacing light switch covers. I give Steven with SunBurst Home Inspection 5 stars. I have dealt with other home inspectors in Kamloops but Steven is by far the best. Very accommodating., I had to cancel our initial appointment with less than 24 hrs notice, he went out of his way to get things done before our conditions were to come down. I especially appreciated him going over the inspection in person. Detailed inspection report and easy to read.
